W. Bro. Robert Tinsley PPrGJW has been called to higher service.
Bob was taken seriously ill some 18 months ago and was expected to survive for only a few days. His strength and determination saw him astound the medical experts as he battled his cancer with strength, great fortitude and good humour. The doctors called him the “miracle man.”
He was advanced into Scorton Mark Lodge N0 1103 in1990 and became Worshipful Master in 2001.
He was first appointed to provincial rank in 2016 as PPrGSO which was followed by promotion in 2022 to the rank of PPrGJW.
From 2015 until his sad passing he was the hard working secretary of the lodge.
He possessed a wonderful singing voice and his rendition of the Master’s Song in various degrees was appreciated by all.

A gentleman held in high esteem by all who knew him, his passing will be sorely felt.
Funeral circulated in due time.
